Origins Council Presents ‘Lady Buds’ in Sacramento, Monday April 25, 2022

This event is being Co-Hosted by Assemblymember Jim Wood, Senator John Laird and Assemblymember Mia Bonta. VIP Invitations are being extended to the press, legislative offices, the Governor’s Administration and to leadership within all state agencies regulating commercial cannabis businesses.

This event is a unique opportunity to educate and inform the public and state policy makers on the realities facing small, legacy cannabis cultivators and independent non-cultivation cannabis businesses that are finding it more and more challenging to remain in the regulated industry. Prop 64 promised to provide a pathway for existing operators to move into a new system of compliance, and ‘Lady Buds’ provides unique insight into if those promises have been kept.

For each ticket purchased, 60% will go toward Origins Council, a non-profit advocacy organization representing the historic rural cannabis producing communities of California.Tickets are available for purchase on a first-come-first-served basis. Pre-registration is required to attend, please RSVP here: https://tinyurl.com/LadyBudsCrest
